DRIVING DIRECTIONS & FINDING REGISTRATION/HQ

Bear Creek Camp is a few miles southeast of Wilkes Barre, PA, on Route 115.

The physical address for a GPS is 3601 Bear Creek Blvd, Wilkes Barre, PA 18702.

If you are using I-476 (the NE extension of the PA Turnpike which is a toll road), take exit 105, turn right/south on 115 and the camp entrance/Bear Creek Blvd is less than a half mile on your left.

If you are using I-81, take exit 170 A for route 115 and head south on 115. The camp entrance/Bear Creek Blvd is less than 5 miles, on your left.

Travel tip: If you are coming south from NY or New England, avoid the Scranton/Wilkes Barre traffic on 81 and pick up 476 (toll road) in Clark’s Summit and go south to exit 105. After the toll booth, turn right/south on 115 and the camp entrance/Bear Creek Blvd is less than a half mile on your left. If you are coming from the South and driving north on 81, you can also avoid the Wilkes Barre traffic by taking exit 151 A onto I 80 East (that interchange is just north of Hazleton). It is just a few miles until you can exit on to 476 N and go to exit 105.

Bear Creek “Boulevard” is a hard packed gravel road that winds for about 2 miles until you see the camp entrance gate and sign.

After you pass under this canopy of trees in the photo below, you'll see signs to turn left onto the Main Road Loop toward the camp office.
